This week one of my OSWOA paintings earned a "Bronze Award" for selling for over $50 on eBay. Actually the painting surprised me. It was not one I would have guessed would go that high.It had been hanging out on the auction for a week and only in the last day got any bids.
I have only been doing the OSWOAs for about three weeks, so it was a great pat on the back to have one "score" so early. I am enjoying painting them. Some, I think, may find that they are interesting enough to make into larger paintings in the future.
There is still a part of me that feels like the "special" cousin. You know. The one that can't hold a job, but stays occupied by making little crafts or playing with their Star Wars figures. So intense in what they are doing, but for the most part, not really contributing much to society or their own upkeep except by staying out of the way and trying to charm you with what they have made.
Whatever. I have some new paper I want to play with today.
